Happy birthday Finland!

I may be at the other end of the world, living great adventures, but I can’t forget this wonderful country. I don’t know when, but I’m sure I’ll go back.

This year, Finland is 101 years old. Click here to see my tribute for the hundredth birthday, last year.

I’m struggling to find time for the blog these day, so I will only share this video today: it’s a pleasure for the ears (Finlandia, by Jean Sibelius) and the eyes. Enjoy!

    • Maybe I have to say something. Of course, half of them are the happiest of the world, but the other is not, they are poor and many in the breadlines, nature is being destroyed by mines and deforestation, almost all the old good services are privatized and directed to wealthy people. And we are the most racist nation in Europe. Would not believe in “Santa’s country”. You are right none country is perfect. And you have gorgeous photos!!!
